The Alberta Program Coordinator, reporting to Alberta Programs Manager, is the key individual that coordinates and supports both Unity’s Alberta-based Virtual Program and its School Programs. The virtual program, called “The Source”, is specifically geared towards Albertan youth, so it is important that the candidate identifies as representing this regional community.
The program coordinator will work closely with the Unity team and its partners to set up the program, recruit and support participants, and lead the evaluation of all programs. The coordinator will also work closely with Unity Artists to design the program curriculum, to prepare and support them to facilitate, and provide feedback and guidance on their work.
This role is a part-time, contract position (24 hrs a week). This role is a mixed virtual / in-person role that will require the candidate to be in-person in Calgary 1-2 times per week.
