The 2013 UNITY Festival will be held from July 18 – July 21. UNITY is planning a bigger and better festival with more performances, headliners, prizes and much more.  We will be updating this page in the near future for more information on auditions and event details!

Want to audition for the unity concert at yonge-dundas square on saturday july 20th?

Want to Perform in front of thousands of people at Dundas Square for the annual 2013 UNTY Concert? Are you between the ages of 13-19? Do you have an urban /hip-hop artistic talent? Are you a dancer, beatboxer, MC/rapper, or in a band? If so, then here is your chance to audition for the UNITY Concert on Saturday July 20th.
When/Location

  1. Saturday May 18th from 10AM-4PM at the Art Gallery Of Ontario, 317 Dundas Street) OR
  2. Sunday May 19th from 10AM-3PM at Don Montgomery Community Centre, 2467 Eglinton Avenue East

How: Auditions times are based on reserving a time slot. Email: outreach@unitycharity.com to sign-up for an audition time. Limited Spots available!

Audition Requirements:

  • Should have at least 2+ people
  • Performance length should be between 2-4 minutes
  • Needs to be align with UNITY’s vision and values
  • Be prepared to tell us why you use the arts to express yourself.

Do you live outside of Ontario and want to audition?
If so, submit an online video to outreach@unitycharity.com. Please note: If you are selected to perform, then traveling /accommodation expenses will not be covered by UNITY.

Want to Volunteer For this year’s festival?

Every year, UNITY Charity presents a 4-Day Festival in Toronto that, in the very essence of its conception, showcases the brilliant talent of not only our beloved artists and our artistic community, but also the youth who have worked extremely hard all year in our school programs. This is an event that is even greater in complexity than our usual ones, and we are proud of our dedicated team of volunteers who have supported us in making this annual event outstanding.

Our Festival will require assistance in all of the following areas:

  • information table
  • merchandise sales
  • backstage
  • set-up/tear-down
  • door/ticketing
  • food distribution
  • promotions and social media

If interested, please complete the Volunteer Application Form and the UNITY Festival Questionnaire and submit them, along with your resume, to volunteer@unitycharity.com. You may also drop off your completed application in person or mail them to our main office at 2300 Yonge Street, Suite 1602, Toronto, ON M4P 1E4.
